In January 2011, I opened The Flower Shop Bruton Ltd. Ever since I was little I have always wanted a flower shop, so when the opportunity arose to take over an established florist, I knew I had to take it! It was such a big gamble at the time as I had two young children still at primary school, but with the support of my family and a year later with my beautiful mother by my side, The Flower Shop was born and continues to thrive - I now get to live out my dream each and every day!!

    In short, we don't sell anything in the shop we wouldn't buy oursleves. We of course have our set prices - but we always make the effort to cater to whatever budget you have!

    Great quality and service shouldn't have to come at a high cost. We order all our stems in fresh everyday for the best quality. We even hand-dry our dried florals in shop!

    Our staff always aim to be friendly and kind. It's as simple as we treat you how we would want to be treated. We know what a difference a friendly face can make!

    FOUNDER & HEAD FLORIST

    Jo founded 'The Flower Shop' in 2006 and is the heart and soul of our lovely shop. When she's not in the shop you'll probably find her foraging in the woods, spending time with her lovely children or having a boogie to some live music! You can find her in the shop everyday except Tuesday's ( and sometimes the occasional Saturday or Thursday ).

  • MORWENNA

    SENIOR FLORIST

    Morwenna - our newest employee - holds the fort on Mondays and Wednesdays. As Manager, she takes care of everything to do with the daily running of the shop - She leads bouquets, arrangements and daily orders. But outside of the shop , she has always had a keep interest in gardening and is of course Somerset-based and countryside loving!
